Arthea Larson LMFT, LCPC LGBTQ, Mental Health I have 32 years experience working with a wide range of youth in both the the child welfare and private sectors both clinically and administratively. I believe strongly in working though all family members to create change. My favorite population to work with is teenagers and I have a special interest in providing affirming therapy for gay, lesbian and transgender youth. I have extensive experience working with youth on the Autism Spectrum. A native of California, I have worked with a wide range of cultures in West Virginia, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and, for the past two years, Idaho. I work from an applied behavior analysis, cognitive behavioral and social learning family therapy perspective. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, am accredited in Triple P Parenting (Standard and Standard Teen) and have extensive training in Aggression Replacement Training. I do not do couples or marriage counseling. I am not what you'd call a "typical" therapist. If the issue is not happening in an office setting, I am comfortable going into nearly any environment to improve change and increase generalization. If you're a teen, you will quickly learn that I tell the truth straight up. (208) 265-6798 www.nicmh.com Sandpoint ID 83864 Bonner County

Kristine Armstrong LCSW LGBTQ, Mental Health I am a licensed clinical therapist, who has over a decade of experience in the treatment of individuals as well as family systems. I began my experience in the field of Wilderness Therapy where I continue to draw from nature's inherent healing capacity. I operate from a strength-based perspective while utilizing knowledge of the most current research based treatment. I believe our life experience is a journey of change and transformation. When we take the courage to address our greatest conflicts, we enter a gateway to open to our greatest potential. I specialize in the treatment of trauma, depression, mood and anxiety disorders, substance abuse and family issues. I integrate a cognitive therapeutic model to help individuals identify faulty self-limiting beliefs through a process of examining recurrent thoughts, emotions and behavioral patterns and replacing old constructs with new and adaptive belief systems. Because relationships are a key component to our personal growth and overall well being, I work from a systems perspective regarding the individual in relation to their family, work and community systems. My primary focus is how our problems develop in relation to these systems and subsequently work to create change within these systems. (208) 290-2450
